Form (Structure)
Affirmative:
I/You/We/They + base verb → I study English.
He/She/It + verb + s/es → She studies English.
Negative:
I/You/We/They + do not (don’t) + base verb → I don’t like coffee.
He/She/It + does not (doesn’t) + base verb → He doesn’t like coffee.
Question:
Do + I/you/we/they + base verb? → Do you go to school every day?
Does + he/she/it + base verb? → Does she live near here?
Use
Use the Present Simple to talk about:
Daily routines: I wake up at 6 a.m.
Habits: I usually study at night.
Facts: The sun rises in the east.
Time Expressions (Common Signals)
every day, usually, always, often, sometimes, never, in the morning, at night, etc.
Important Rules
Remember -s / -es with he / she / it: works, studies, goes
After do/does, use the base form of the verb:
Does she go to school? (NOT goes)
Practice Instructions

Write 5–7 sentences about your daily routine using the Present Simple.
