This test c onsists of two tasks. It is s uggested that candidates spend about 20 minutes on Task 1, which requires them to write at least 150 words, and 40 m inutes on Task 2, which

requires t hem to write at least 250 words. Task 2 contributes twice as much as Task 1 to the Writing score.
