Learning about vowel sounds helps us become better readers! The letter “A” can make a short sound, like in “carrot,” and a long sound, like in “apron.” Look at the pictures to help you tell the difference between the long and short “A” sounds. Draw a line from the picture to the appropriate letter sound.
Drag and drop the given picture with its correct beginning sound.

Exercise 2: The "Sound Path" (Auditory Discrimination)
Create a story-based path where the student is a delivery driver.
The Scenario: "You are driving a VAN. If you hear a /v/ word, turn left. If you hear a /b/ word, turn right."
The Audio Clips:
Vat / Bat
Vote / Boat
Very / Berry
The Goal: If they follow the sounds correctly, they reach the "Winner's Garage." If they mix them up, they end up at the "Flat Tire Station."
Exercise 3: "Spot the Silly Sentence"
This helps with context. Give them three sentences with a blank space and two buttons (one for V and one for B).
Sentence: "I like to eat a sweet red ________." (Options: Berry / Very)
Sentence: "The captain sails the ________." (Options: Boat / Vote)
Interactive Element: When they click the wrong one, a "Silly Image" appears—for example, a captain trying to sail a giant "VOTE" ballot paper instead of a boat.
Write the name of the month next to each picture. Use only lowercase letters
