Task 1. Work in pairs. Look at the text. Complete the mind map. Then discuss it with your partner.

 

 Grammar help and examples:

  • Use Present Simple for facts: The park opens at 8:30. A child ticket costs $11.

  • Use must for things you have to do: You must hug a koala! You must feed the kangaroos.

  • Use mustn't for things not allowed: You mustn't run near the animals. You mustn't bring your own food for the animals.  

Imagine that you're a guide. Tell the visitors about the zoo.

 

Task 2. 

  1. Pick 6 words from the cloud.

  2. For each, write one Present Simple sentence  and one Present Continuous sentence.

  3. Imagine you are at the park right now. Describe what you see and what people are doing.

Example:
Word: Peacock

  • Present Simple: Peacocks have beautiful long tails.

Present Continuous: A peacock is showing its tail to the visitors.

Look at these pictures. Make 4-5 sentence in your notebook.

  • What is happening? (Present Continuous)
