Structure:

✅ Affirmative:

  • I/You/We/They + base verb (V1)
  • He/She/It + verb + s/es

📌 Examples:

  • I listen to music every day.
  • She plays the piano.

❌ Negative:

  • I/You/We/They + do not (don’t) + base verb
  • He/She/It + does not (doesn’t) + base verb

📌 Examples:

  • They don’t like rock music.
  • He doesn’t play the guitar.

❓ Questions:

  • Do + I/you/we/they + base verb?
  • Does + he/she/it + base verb?

📌 Examples:

  • Do you like jazz?
  • Does she sing well?

When to use Present Simple:

  1. To talk about habits or routines
  2. To describe general truths or facts
  3. To talk about fixed schedules (e.g., school, transport)
