There are a few things you should pay attention. 

1. 1. Plot: There are three parts that you need to identify

• Beginning: The beginning of the story is where writers introduce the reader to the setting and main characters.
• Middle: This is where the main characters set out to resolve the conflict or issue.
• End: The ending of a story is the resolution to the conflict or issue the character faces.

1. 2. POV, refers to who is telling or narrating the story. (1st person, 2nd person, or 3rd person)
