FCE Objective Un.21 Congestion charge extra

Agree/Disagree

Band 3 practice

This is an exercise on making an informal text more formal by eliminating all the words 'got, get and getting'. There are alternative answers for many of the words. Some of the boxes may have correct answers that are not listed in the answer sheet so teachers should look at each submission and alter the mark should an acceptable answer be given. You can then add the alternative to the worksheet so that it can be more comprehensive next time.

In this exercise you have to write ONE word that fits three set of sentences. You can help yourself from a theasaurus if you cannot find the correct word, but you have something in mind.
