They are popular in the U.K in 1962 with their first single "Love Me Do". By 1964, they are international stars creating a phenomenon known as Beatle mania. The Beatles are the best-selling band in the history of music. Sadly, John Lennon is murdered in 1980. He is 40 years old. George Harrison dies at 58 years old. Paul Mc Carney and Ringo Starr are alive. Paul is 78 years old and Ringo is 80.
