Exercise 2 Read each sentence and choose the correct word from the vocabulary list in Exercise 1. Put one word in each blank. Do not repeat words. Exercise 3 Read the cloze paragraph and fill in each blank with a different word from Exercise 1. Use the meaning of the paragraph to choose the correct word. Exercise 4 Read the short story and circle every letter that needs to be capitalized. Pay attention to names, places, days, and the beginning of sentences. Exercise 5 Look at the pairs of verbs and circle the correct form in Present Simple. Exercise 6 Complete each sentence with the correct Present Simple form of the verb. Focus on subject agreement. Exercise 7 Read the cloze paragraph. Fill in each blank with the correct form of the verb in brackets. Some are positive, some are negative, some are questions. Use Present Simple only.
