About me
Rosario Reyes Márquez: English Philology degree by the University of Granada. English teacher at English American College (Private Language school in Granada), preparing students for PET, KET, First Certificate and CAE Exams from 1992 to 1994. Since 1994, she has been a state teacher at various secondary schools in Andalucía. Currently teaching at IES Alpujarra, Órgiva (Granada), where she is the coordinator of the Bilingual Project for the school since its approval in 2009. President of GRETA (English Teachers Association of Andalusia) from 2009 to 2015; an organization with over 30 years’ experience in Quality Teacher Training for which she has carried out administration work as well as being responsible for the organization of Annual Conferences and Teacher Training events, certified by the Consejería de Educación (Junta de Andalucía). She is currently responsible for the organization of TRINITY ISE Examination sessions for teacher language accreditation, which take place twice a year in the CEP in Granada since 2012. She has delivered talks and workshops for GRETA and the CEPs in the provinces of Granada, Málaga, Jáen and Sevilla and for the Universities of Jaén and Granada. In September 2016) she was appointed "Coordinadora Pedagógica Provincial para Proyectos Lingüísticos de Centro de la provincia de Granada".
She is currently engaged in collaborating with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (INTEF) in online teacher training for various courses on CLIL and Bilingual Education.
She is also part of a permanent Seminar at the Teacher Training Centre (CEP) in Granada, for which she collaborates as a trainer in a course concerning Key Competences, Evaluation, design of didactic materials and active methodologies, delivered in various secondary schools around Granada.
Her main interest areas are the correct implementation of Bilingual Programs in Andalucía, CLIL methodology, Task/Project Based Learning and the use of tools such us the PEL and the design of teaching materials and evaluation tools.
