in recent months,I have found that the notifications disappear and I cannot keep track of all the students that have done work in order to comment on like I used to be able to. The last "deletion" was on February 25, and I know that I DID NOT DELETE ANYTHING!

I can certainly understand how frustrating it is to log in and find that your tracking history isn't where you expected it to be, especially when you use those notifications to keep a close eye on your students' progress.
I want to clarify what is happening so you can manage your workflow more easily:
To keep the platform running smoothly for millions of users, our system is set to automatically delete notifications after 14 days. This is a standard technical process, which is why those messages from February 25 are no longer visible. You definitely didn't do anything wrong!
While the notifications (the alerts) disappear after two weeks, please rest assured that your students' actual results and work are NOT deleted.
If your students are assigned to a workbook, their grades and your ability to comment on them will remain there.
