accents marks with chrome books

Hello- Does anyone know how my students can add French accent marks to their answers using their chrome books (in the US). We can't use many of these great worksheets because they can't cut and paste any accent marks in. Thanks!

Hello, I have no personal experience using Chrome books. Why can't they? Isn't it possible for them to access something as simple as a txt file where they can copy the symbols and paste them in the worksheets? In my case, I use a draft email when I have to write in Spanish. Isn't it possible to change the language of the Chrome book? I've done it for my phone. I've added a second language.
