1. Show each student their name card. 2. Say and model the student’s name. 3. Trace the name together. 4. Present the student’s name beside 1–2 other names. 5. Say, “Find your name.” 6. Allow the student to point, touch, hand over, eye gaze toward, or select the correct card using AAC. 7. Repeat 5 times. 8. Provide reinforcement after correct responses.
