An algorithm is a set of instructions. the instructions must be in the correct sequence(order). things which are wrong in algorithms(errors) are called bugs. when we tell someone how to get to a place, we are giving them directions. directions are a type of algorithm. it is important that algorithms are precise. when an algorithm is precise, it includes all the information that people need to follow it.
