Students learn and practise common daily routine vocabulary and phrases, including wake up, get up, brush my teeth, get dressed, have breakfast, go to work/school, study, have lunch, do my homework, go home, exercise, clean the house, wash the dishes, meet my friends, have dinner, watch TV, and go to bed. Activities include matching routines to their meanings, choosing the correct phrase, completing common daily routine expressions, identifying routines from descriptions, putting a morning routine in order, completing sentences and a daily routine, answering multiple-choice questions, and a short writing challenge about the student’s own daily routine.
