Possessive "s"

The possessive "s" is an apostrophe and an "s" added to a noun to show ownership or a relationship between people or things.

 

Remember
A sentence begins with a capital letter, has a subject and verb, and ends with a punctuation mark. 

 

Example:

The bag of Maria is on the table.

Answer: Maria’s bag is on the table.
