DESCRIPTIVE WRITING

Last summer, my cousin Sara and I decided to go swimming at a quiet beach near our house. The weather was perfect, and the water was crystal clear. We were having a wonderful time diving and playing in the waves.

Suddenly, a powerful current pulled Sara further out into the deep water. She struggled to stay afloat and shouted for help. I was terrified, but I quickly swam to her, grabbed her hand, and pulled her toward the shallow area until she could stand safely.

We both reached the shore exhausted but relieved. This frightening experience taught me the importance of staying alert and never underestimating the power of the ocean, especially when swimming with others.
