Last week, Anna went to a quiet place near the river. She was talking with her best friend, Lily. The sun was shining, and the water in the river was cold and clear. They walked and laughed together.

Soon, they saw a small dark cave behind some trees. “Let’s look inside!” said Lily. Anna wasn’t sure, but she followed her friend. The ground was wet and slippery.

Suddenly, Anna fell down. She hurt her knee and started to cry. Lily helped her sit down. “Are you okay?” she asked. But Anna was upset. Her leg hurt a lot.

Then, something strange happened. A cute little rabbit came out of the cave. It looked friendly and kind. The rabbit had a bright orange carrot in its mouth. It walked to Anna and put the carrot next to her.

Anna smiled. “Thank you, little rabbit,” she said. The rabbit looked at her with big eyes. Then it did something even more amazing. It opened pretty golden wings on its back!

Anna and Lily couldn’t believe it. The rabbit began to fly around them in circles. It looked happy and free.

After a minute, the flying rabbit went back into the cave. Anna stopped crying. She felt better. Lily helped her stand up, and they slowly walked home.

That evening, Anna fed her cat and told it the story about the flying rabbit. Her cat just meowed, licked its paw, and went to sleep.
Anna smiled and said, “Maybe tomorrow we’ll go back to the river.”
