Schools in Ukraine

In Ukraine, school is compulsory for children aged 6 to 15. Most schools run from Monday to Friday, with the school day usually starting at 8 a.m. and finishing at 2 p.m. However, some schools also offer afternoon classes or extracurricular activities. The academic year begins on September 1st and ends in May or June.

School Levels

Private institutions are funded by private organizations or individuals and tend to have higher tuition fees. Admission to higher education programs is competitive and based on students' ZNO scores.
