La comunicación es una habilidad fundamental para los seres humanos, tan natural como respirar. En los últimos años, hemos visto grandes cambios en la forma en que nos comunicamos, y esto ha convertido las redes de comunicación en algo tan común y esencial como la atmósfera de nuestro planeta.

Desde una perspectiva social, la comunicación se refiere a un proceso en el que al menos dos personas interactúan entre sí. Cuando esto involucra a más de dos personas, lo llamamos socialización.

Antes, en los medios de comunicación tradicionales, la información pasaba por un proceso complicado antes de llegar a las personas. Se decodificaba, interpretaba y codificaba antes de ser transmitida a través de diferentes canales hacia los receptores. Sin embargo, con la llegada de Internet, las audiencias ya no son solo receptores pasivos, sino que también juegan un papel activo al crear su propio contenido.

Además, la presencia de Internet en los hogares en las últimas dos décadas ha cambiado la forma en que las personas consumen los productos de los medios de comunicación tradicionales, como la televisión y los periódicos.

Camila’s Balanced School Day

Camila is fifteen years old and lives in Chunchi, Ecuador. On weekdays, she wakes up at 5:45 a.m. because her classes begin at 7:00. She makes her bed, washes her face and has bread, cheese and milk for breakfast. At 6:35, she leaves home and walks to school with her cousin. The walk takes about twenty minutes.
