LexWay English was founded by two passionate educators, Lisa Leão and Vanessa Vieira, who share a commitment to making English learning meaningful, practical, and focused on real results. Lisa began teaching English at the age of 16 and holds a degree in English from UCB, as well as postgraduate and master’s degrees in Applied Linguistics. She has also completed a specialization at the University of Oxford and, in recent years, has focused on developing a student-centered approach to language learning. Vanessa has been connected to English since the age of seven, when she was educated in the United States, and has been an English teacher since 2007. She holds a degree in English from the University of Brasília and a Cambridge CELTA certification, with experience teaching at renowned language schools and regular schools in Brasília. Together, and alongside a team of qualified and dedicated teachers, Lisa and Vanessa guide each student throughout their English learning journey, helping them build confidence, develop their communication skills, and achieve their goals with the language.
