ดังนั้น การเรียนรู้เรื่องอัลกอริทึมจะช่วยให้นักเรียนรู้จัก คิดอย่างเป็นขั้นตอน จัดลำดับการทำงาน และแก้ปัญหาอย่างเป็นระบบ
