Exercise: Write an informal letter
Your friend invites you to his/her birthday party, but you cannot come.
Write a short letter to your friend. In your letter, you should:
- say sorry
- say why you cannot come
- ask about the party
- write 25–35 words
You can use these questions to help you:
- What is your friend’s name?
- Why can’t you go to the party?
- What do you want to say to your friend?
- What question do you want to ask?
