IELTS LISTENING – Student Instructions

Live Worksheets Practice

Please read the instructions carefully before starting the activity.

  1. Use headphones or earphones to hear the recording clearly.

  2. Prepare a quiet environment. Avoid distractions and unnecessary conversations during the activity.

  3. Read the questions first before playing the audio. Identify keywords and predict the type of answer required.

  4. Listen carefully to the recording. The audio in the actual IELTS Listening test is played only once. For realistic practice, listen only once.

  5. Follow the word limit strictly. For example, if the instruction says NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER, answers exceeding this limit will be marked incorrect.

  6. Type your answers directly into the spaces provided. Check spelling, grammar, singular and plural forms, and numbers.

  7. Do not pause, replay, or rewind the recording unless your coach specifically instructs you to do so.

  8. Complete all questions. If you are unsure of an answer, make your best guess rather than leaving it blank.

  9. Review your answers before submitting. Pay particular attention to spelling and word limits.

  10. Click FINISH or SUBMIT after completing the worksheet. Enter your name if requested and follow your coach's instructions for sharing your results.

Important Reminders

  • Each correct answer is worth one mark.

  • Incorrect spelling may result in a wrong answer.

  • Answers must follow the instructions for each question.

  • Do not use Google, AI tools, dictionaries, or outside assistance.

  • Complete the activity independently and honestly.

Remember: IELTS Listening tests your ability to understand spoken English, identify important details, and follow information accurately.

Listen carefully. Stay focused. Trust your preparation.
