   • why classmates should learn it
   • where you found or heard the word
4. Share your words with the class.
5. As a class, discuss all the suggested words and choose the most important ones to study further.

Write any one related word that you can associate with the given word. Then, continue adding connected words to form a branching word map. Each new word should relate to the word before it.
