The Cheese Chaser

Grammar - ESL

Read the text about Ben.

My Name is Ben. I am from Germany, but my heart is in England. Every year, I travel to a small hill in England for a very special race – the Cheese-Rolling. It is crazy and dangerous, but I love it!

My life is different because of this cheese. I don’t have a normal hobby. My hobby is cheese chasing! I don’t play football or watch TV in my free time. I train for the race. I run up and down hills every weekend. I eat healthy food. I don’t eat fast food or drink soda. I need to be strong and fast.

My friends don’t understand me. They ask: “Ben, why do you do this? Do you like cheese?” But it’s not about the cheese. It’s about the dream! Do I win? Not every year. But I always try!
