My students are not getting any notification when I assign them a page from a workbook to do as homework

Hi Patricia! They need to click on "My Workbooks" after logging into their account. Then, they will see the Homework tab with an orange number on it, which serves as a notification indicating how many pages of the workbook have been assigned.
they used to get a mail which was really useful. this does not work any more?
