Re-read Chapter 3 carefully. Use the STEAL method (Speech, Thoughts, Emotions, Actions, Looks) to find examples about how Max and Kevin are characterised. Then write an inference about what it shows or tells the reader. Use sentence starters: 'This shows…' / 'This tells the reader that…'
